Price Reduced for sale in Florida before moving boat back to Texas in May.
Bigger engines dont have to burn a lot of fuel. This boats trip Texas to Florida was through the ICW.Averaging 7-8kts at 3.5gph both engines at 1000rpm.818 nautical miles.

The 430 Sedan trawler model is 50% bigger than the little sister MS 400 model. With an engine room that is twice as big and has rear deck access, so no need to pull up salon floor. She has twice the salon and inside steering helm space. Galley is down so you have real salon seating on both sides.

Very few of the 430 sedan were built in comparison to the 400 and it’s predecessor, the 390/350 or the 43 Aft cabin. The listing broker has owned a MS400, and sold dozens of the 350/390, 43AC and this model. Please call to understand the differences.

The Mainship trawlers are the number 1 boat on the Great Loop today. This boat has not done the loop so she doesn’t have the wear and tear or higher hours that most do now.

Interior Layout

As you enter the double doors to the salon you are greeted with a very large and open space. The 156 beam allows for an expansive salon that includes the fully functional lower helm and small dinette table with two stylish rattan chairs on the starboard side and the galley breakfast bar with two rattan stools and a comfortable settee on the port side.

Theeasy care teak and holly Everwear laminate floors (a $7K factory option new) and comfortable and stylish settee and chairs will make you feel right at home.

The master stateroom is forward and is spacious enough for 3 persons to stand in it without feeling crowded. It has a large amount of organized storage space and a huge Island berth with storage under. There is also a nearly walk in closet over 4′ wide with drawers under. The small seat to starboard also has storage under.

The guest stateroom is to starboard and is very versatile. First the double entry doors make it very open to the hall way. The innovative layout contains a settee sofa located outboard that can sleep one or be converted into a larger berth with storage under. There is also a small desk at one end of the room and a compartment that contains a side-by-side washer and dryer at the other end. Washer has been removed and is now 9 cubic feet of additional storage.

Once you leave the 2ndstateroom, an enormous head is to port with a medicine cabinet large enough to double as a linen closet, a curved vanity with a solid-surface counter with under-mount sink, huge mirror plus a glass enclosed tub & shower combination.

The boat has the feel of a 50′ plus trawler. Especially the oversize full beam flybridge.

There is storage everywhere:

Under all the settees on flybridge and in upper kitchen. Tons under the flybridge itself. You can literally sit up under it inside.

Engine room has an abundance of storage being full beam and we have bought correct size tubs to optimize it. There is storage for lines and smaller fenders in the transom lazarette.

Interior there is a salon wine locker and overhead cabinets thru the salon. The sofa is a 3/4 sofa sleeper and has some storage in it.

Galley has storage in cabinets, pantry, and under floor.

Guest cabin has under the settee/berth, hanging locker and since washer is gone there is abut 9 cubic foot of storage there.

Head has a huge under sink and medicine cabinet/ linen cabinet and a cabinet behind the head.

Master stateroom has a near walk in hanging locker with 3 drawers under it. There is a settee with storage under. A drawer under the berth as well as the berth lifts up and huge amount of storage there. Plus if you use some bags there is space in the bow thruster area.

Plus under the floor in the master is huge. We have at least 5 tubs there that are about 12 by 18 by 12.

Electrical

As with most boats this size, the Boat has 24vt and 240vt (50 amp shore power) systems.

4 large AGM batteries in series to create port and starboard house and starting batteries.

2 Group 31 in series to power 24vt bow thruster.

1 Group 31 12vt battery to power items that can only be 12vt, lighter power plugs, stereos, etc.

Besides 3000 watt invertor charger there are separate port and starboard chargers as well as a 24vt to 12vt converter for the 12vt system. The invertor is actually the starboard battery charger so the other is a back up.

There are three 2000 GPH bilge pumps and one 4000 GPH emergency bilge pump.

Head sink and shower drain to separate 24vt sump boxes.

Brokers Remarks, Exclusions, What’s Not Working

Brokers Remarks:

Having previous owned a Mainship 400 for 3 years and doing a near complete refit, when an old client approached me about this Mainship 430, I already knew the boat and the care it had had, so I jumped on the opportunity to buy it. The boat was previously in Texas for nearly 12 years owned by the same owner who babied it and gave it all it needed but rarely took it out. The things we did to the boat were in a lot of ways things all boats this age need, like a all new head plumbing hose and vacuflush system. Any boat this age needs it but how many people will spend $9K to do it? Same for all the exterior canvas.

This boat could cruise the Bahamas tomorrow or or start the loop tomorrow.

We are selling her in Florida but if she is not sold by May she will be moved back to Texas.

Exclusions:

  • NEGOTIABLE 2019 Inmar 10 foot 6 inch 325R-AL Aluminum RIB dingy with battery, electric start and tilt Suzuki 20hp (bought new moved from another boat). 6″ Garmin plotter with depth sounder 2020 Dingy cover.
  • WetSpot water softener (for washing boat-prevents water spots)
  • Kayaks or Paddleboards
  • Dive gear
  • Dometic portable fridge/freezer on Flybridge
  • Aft deck cooler
  • Teak and aluminum folding chairs in bags
  • Electric fold up Bikes
  • Dyson vacuum
  • Spare 50amp shore power cord
  • Tools
  • Galley ware and loose gear in the head
  • Any and all personal gear, clothes, tools, dishes, Cleaning brushes, collapsible hoses, buckets, supplies, other stuff that could be used on another boat, but NOT specific spare parts that go to this boat and or it’s systems. Those spares will go with the boat.

Whats not working. Every boat has something broken or needing repair. This boat is no exception. However we are letting you know what we know is not working but nothing here would keep you from using the boat now.

  • Starboard windshield wiper motor is most likely bad. (There are new wiper arms and blades in the spares on board
  • One engine room light.
  • Overhead hatch screen in master stateroom.
  • Some red indicator lights on electrical switches/panels.
  • 2006 vintage washer was not worth minor repairs and we removed it. Now it has 9 cubic feet of great storage. Dryer is still there and working.
  • TV in guest stateroom is dated. It comes on, and is hooked to the air antenna (under flybridge helm) but we have never used them. Same for the stereos in guest stateroom. I think it is a dvd players also for the TV they come on and play music but we never used them for DVD.
  • X-Change-R oil-change system (never used/never tried it most likely needs a new impellor. Most mechanics don’t want to use them.
