Walk Through
Encore sleeps 4: 2 on V-berth (with insert) in Master Stateroom and 2 on convertible U-settee in Salon. The MSR features plenty of storage in lockers and drawers, and lots of light and ventilation from the stainless steel opening ports and large Lewmar overhead hatch. Aft to port is the head with a VacuFlush toilet and shower with wrap-around curtain.
The main salon is next aft. There is a full U-shaped galley to port with cabinets above and below the counter tops. The galley features a three burner propane stove/oven, front opening Grunert 110 refrigeration system with large holding plates, and a large stainless steel sink. Opposite is the U-shaped settee surrounding a high-low teak table, which converts to an ample double berth.
There is reverse cycle air-conditioning throughout, and the bulkheads, furniture and sole are all beautiful, rich, satin-finished teak so typical of Grand Banks.
Up 3 steps from the interior leads one to the helm deck. The helm, with its pedestal seat and array of electronics, is to starboard, and the aftermarket, very comfortable removable L-settee is to port. The helm deck has a Sunbrella Toast enclosure attached to a custom fiberglass hard top which protects the crew from the sun and rain, while also providing for ventilation. Down one steps leads to the cockpit where there is an aft facing bench seat, and a transom door leading to the teak swim platform with its beefy ladder. The cockpit features a hot/cold fresh water shower to rinse off after a swim.
